The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You (100 Kanojo), new details about Season 2 have been officially revealed.
Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on January 12, 2025, and Episode 13, titled “Their (Her) Name Is,” will be the first episode of this new season.
According to the synopsis, the episode focuses on Hakari and the other girlfriends becoming concerned about the possibility of a “three-month relationship slump.” In an attempt to ensure Rentaro doesn’t lose interest in them, they try one of Kusuri’s new experimental drugs, only for it to go awry and cause a body-swap scenario.
The episode will also introduce a new soulmate, Kurumi Haraga, a third-year middle school student whom Rentaro meets during a chance encounter at the school store.

The advance screening event for Season 2 took place today, December 15, 2024, at the Shinjuku Piccadilly theater in Tokyo.
The event featured appearances by voice actors Wataru Kato (Rentaro Aijo), Maria Naganawa (Shizuka Yoshimoto), and Amane Shindo (Kurumi Haraga), along with comedian Motohiro Takewaka as the MC. During the event, the cast reflected on the highlights of Season 1 and shared behind-the-scenes insights.
The anime, based on the manga written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa, has been serialized in Weekly Young Jump since December 26, 2019.
The series gained significant popularity for its unique premise and chaotic humor, with the anime adaptation handled by Bibury Animation Studios. Season 1 aired from October 8 to December 24, 2023, and covered the rapid introduction of Rentaro’s many soulmates while staying relatively faithful to the source material.
Bibury Animation Studios will continue its work on Season 2 under the direction of Hikaru Sato, with the same core creative team from the first season.
The studio has previously worked on The Quintessential Quintuplets 2 and other notable projects. Season 2 will air on TOKYO MX and other Japanese networks, with streaming platform Crunchyroll, will stream the episodes internationally (availability depends on regions).
