Demon Slayer’s Rengoku Is Getting His Own Spin-off Manga!

Demon Slayer manga ended on May 17, 2020, but the popularity of the series has grown even larger with millions of manga copies being sold in Japan as well as worldwide. A Movie and second season of the anime is also in production.

Author of the series have listened to the fans request and we will be getting a short manga about Kyujuro Rengoku titled “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Rengoku Gaiden” and manga will release in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine Issue number 44 and 45.

Spin-off Manga will be 82 pages long, with 19 pages releasing in Shonen Jump Issue 44 and remaining pages in Shonen Jump Issue 45. Fans can read this story on Manga Plus. It is believed that manga will be about Rengoku’s past story as fans believe that his character was not flushed out enough in the main Demon Slayer manga.

Demon Slayer is a popular manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge. Manga also recieved an anime adaptation in 2019, which consisted of 26 episodes. There is also a movie in production titled “Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen” which will premiere on October 16, 2020.
