Black Clover manga series is coming back with chapter 332 releasing on August 1st. The manga fans are excited because the previous revealed the identity of the Time Devil, one of the shocking plot twists in the manga. Here is everything you need to know about the Black Clover’s Time Devil.
Black Clover chapter 331, titled, “And The Time Starts to Move,” was loaded with tons of emotional moments between friends, families, and more. But we all know that’s not what you’re here for. Instead, what has fans really riled up and surprised is the twist ending this chapter featured. An ending that shook the world and the entire story of Black Clover so far, the shocking reveal of the 4th Zogratis brother!
Of course, before we start, I must issue a major spoiler warning from here on out. Not just for the latest chapter, but for the Black Clover series as a whole. What Just Happened?!
Disregarding the beginning of the chapter, let’s instead jump to the last few pages of chapter 331 where it’s revealed that Julius Novachrono the Wizard King is actually Lucius Zogratis the last of the Zogratis brothers! If you’re anything like me, you are probably confused and in shock as to what just happened, so let us here at Anime Senpai break it all down for you!
We start off with Julius in the Clover kingdom just learning that the battle in the Spade Kingdom has ended safely. Though he is happy he can’t shake this uneasy feeling. This is when Damnatio walks in to have a word with Julius. He basically explains that Megicula isn’t one of the underworld’s three leaders, unlike the other two devils, Beelzebub and Lucifero. The final devil of the three rulers is actually Astaroth, who has time magic.
Damnatio then makes the connection that strangely, Julius is the only mage in all of history with time magic. On top of that Astaroth has been missing from the underworld for a while, seeing as how Megicula has taken his spot.
As Damnatio explains, Julius slowly realizes that all this evidence leads to him being a devil host, to which he frighteningly confirms. Almost as if he is scared himself…
Before he can explain further, however, it seems that Julius loses control of his body. He suddenly transforms and quickly knocks Damnatio out with an unknown attack. Once the transformation is over Adrammelech arrives and greets this person as Lucius Zogratis, the 4th Zogratis sibling!
As the chapter comes to an end, we meet this new menacing person as he grins eerily. The Colver Kingdom grimoire Julius had in his position transforms into a Spade Kingdom grimoire and the chapter closes out. I’m sure you all want answers, and we will be getting these answers on the upcoming Black Clover chapter as the series is returning from hiatus!
