Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW), the fourth and final cour, titled The Calamity Arc, has officially been announced alongside a promotional video.
This final part of the anime adaptation will conclude the series, wrapping up the events of Tite Kubo’s original manga. Release date for The Calamity Arc has not been revealed yet. Checkout the promotional video:
The Thousand-Year Blood War is based on the final arc of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga, which spanned from Chapter 480 (Volume 55) to Chapter 686 (Volume 74).
The arc was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from November 7, 2011, to August 22, 2016. While the manga was initially criticized for pacing issues, the anime adaptation has addressed some of these concerns with additional scenes and polished storytelling.
Cour 3: The Conflict Arc also shared an updated key visual featuring Ichigo Kurosaki, Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Chado, and Ganju Shiba, as well as Uryu Ishida.
The first cour, The Blood Warfare, aired from October 11, 2022, to December 27, 2022, introducing the Quincy Wandenreich and the destruction they brought to Soul Society.
The second cour, The Separation, was broadcast from July 8, 2023, to September 30, 2023, diving deeper into the aftermath of the initial attacks and Ichigo Kurosaki’s preparation for the escalating battles.
The third cour, The Conflict, ran from October 5, 2024, to December 28, 2024, showcasing major clashes and character developments while setting the stage for the series finale.
