Demon Slayer is coming back with Mugen Train Arc on October 10. The first episode will be anime original, meaning that even if you have watched the movie, and read the manga, you will enjoy watching this episode, as it will have all original material.
On Sept 25th, it was announced that Demon Slayer anime will be coming back on Oct 10 with Mugen Train Arc, which will be released in 7 episodes. The first episode will be anime original, which will take place before Mugen Train, following Rengoku’s Journey. The title of the 1st episode is “Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro”.
Demon Slayer season 2 will be available on Crunchyroll and Funimation. Here is the exact release time when the new episode will come out on Crunchyroll:

Entertainment District Arc
After the Mugen Train Arc finishes airing, there will be a one week break. Demon slayer: Entertainment District Arc will begin on Dec 7 with a 1 hour long episode.
New Theme Songs
Demon Slayer fans will be getting new opening and ending songs for Mugen Train Arc, which will be performed by LiSA. Aimer will perform theme songs for Entertainment District Arc.
Why Mugen Train Arc Is Getting Rebroadcast?
Not all the anime fans had privileged to watch the Mugen Train, so it makes sense that the production committee is releasing the film as TV anime. As this will allow all the fans to catch up to the story before Entertainment District Arc.
