Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date & New Trailer Released

It’s Official! Demon Slayer season 2 is scheduled to be released on December 5th, 2021. The season 2 will adapt the “entertainment district arc”. The first episode will be 1-hour long special.

Before the season 2 release, “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” film will be released in episodic form as a separate arc. Mugen Train Arc will have 7 episodes scheduled to start airing on October 10. The first episode of the Mugen Train Arc will have brand new material (not included in the film). All other 6 episodes will also be re-edited to include new scenes and music.

Previously, it was confirmed that Demon Slayer season 2 will be returned either in October or November. Furthermore, the time slot for episode release has been changed to late night (11:45 PM). The next arc “Entertainment Arc” is on a topic which most of Japanese parents are uncomfortable to talk about. So, late night time slot means that anime won’t get censored.
