Goo Ranking, a prominent Japanese ranking website, carried out a survey asking Japanese anime fans to identify the most powerful anime character. Based on their responses, we present the top 41 mightiest characters in the realm of anime.

Update April 21, 2023: The rankings of the strongest anime characters have evolved, as numerous new anime series have premiered, bringing forth an array of formidable characters. Furthermore, the continued development of existing manga series has revealed additional powers for established characters, leading to significant shifts in the rankings.

Here are the top 37 strongest anime characters chosen by Japanese anime fans.

41. Ainz Ooal Gown (Momonga)
