Japan: Demon Slayer ‘Mugen Train Arc’ Ratings Are Declining

According to a popular Japanese website “Mantan Web”, Demon Slayer season 2 “Mugen Train Arc” ratings are declining continuously in Japan.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film is being released as a 7 episode arc. ‘Mantan Web’ did a video research survey, where they found out that the first episode got 10.0 percent viewers ratings, after that the ratings continue to decline. The 2nd episode got a 8.00 percent rating, followed by 7.00 percent for the 3rd episode, 6.4 for the 4th episode, and 5th episode got a 5.7 rating.

However, the rating recovered a bit in the latest episode 6, where the audience rating was 6.6 percent. This continued decline is due to the fact that there is nothing new to offer to the audience. The Mugen Train arc is already seen by most of the audience as a film.

Previously, it was announced that Demon Slayer season 2 will have 2 arcs. Mugen Train Arc, which is the same as Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film, but with some new background music and additional scenes. Entertainment District Arc will begin on Decemeber 5 with new theme songs performed by Aimer.
