Solo Leveling fans ARISE the series is back! However, not as you would’ve expected, instead of a highly requested anime series or the lesser received live-action series that was announced, the series will be back as a video game!
Earlier today at a Korean news conference Netmarble announced their new game lineup. Of course, the one that grabbed the most eyes would be their new action RPG game based on the now-famous Solo Leveling series.
Who knew that less than a month after the series officially ended we would be back with more Solo Leveling news! We have more info on the details of the game as well as the first official trailer down below so keep on reading!
Overview/Details
What we know of the game, so far is very limited, however, thanks to a little digging on Netmarble’s official website we have a rough look at what to expect. Since the game is still in early development any of these details could change over time or look different in the actual release. With that out of the way, let us take a look at what to expect!
The game is set to be a single-player RPG based on the infamous manhwa of the same name, Solo Leveling! Players will be able to increase their combat power in-game by increasing their Shadow Army or by gathering powerful hunters to join their guild. The game will feature many cinematic scenes and will seemingly follow the plot of the manhwa. Of course, Netmarble also promises stylish battle sequences with amazing action!
Release Date
The game currently does not have a set release date because as mentioned it is still in early development. However, based on the trailer and its featured gameplay I expect we can see the game released sometime in early 2023. This is of course just a guess of my own and by no means official. Synopsis
Solo Leveling tells the story of a week hunter, Sung Jinwoo who enters a mysterious dungeon with a team of hunter. However, things go terribly wrong, and his entire team gets killed. When he wakes up, he finds that he is given a mysterious system, where he can increase his power level, just by slaying monsters. This is the story of Jin Woo’s solo levelling.
